Mosaics- Art Within Art

Many mosaic artists use related color tiles or imagery to create one final image. When I create a mosaic, I take a more unconventional approach. Engsane digital mosaics are comprised of my own finished, independent works of art. These pieces consist of many different subjects that are unrelated to the final project.

Upon closer observation, the viewer can see the art within the art. The more time you spend observing the work, the more there is to discover. I have always found that the experience that a piece of art brings you is the most important part of viewing it. The experience of witnessing many small, original creations coming together as one is the beauty of creating my digital mosaics.
